Liverpool Legends Bring Beatles Magic to the Waco Hippodrome
WACO, Texas — Fans of The Beatles will have the opportunity to experience the music and legacy of the iconic British band when Liverpool Legends: The Complete Beatles Experience comes to the Waco Hippodrome Theatre on Friday, June 5.
The Grammy-nominated tribute show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the historic downtown venue and promises an immersive journey through the music that defined a generation.
What sets Liverpool Legends apart from many tribute acts is its direct connection to The Beatles. The production was personally curated by Louise Harrison, the late sister of George Harrison, who worked to preserve the band’s legacy and introduce new audiences to their music. Her narration and influence remain an integral part of the show.
Audiences can expect performances spanning The Beatles’ entire career, from early hits such as “She Loves You” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand” to later classics including “Come Together,” “Here Comes the Sun” and “Hey Jude.”
The production recreates each era of the band’s evolution through authentic costumes, vintage instruments, period-inspired visuals and performances that closely capture the voices and personalities of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
The group has earned international recognition, performing sold-out shows in more than 20 countries and appearing at notable venues including Carnegie Hall and the Rose Bowl. Liverpool Legends has also performed at Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The band recently received national attention through appearances on CNN and FOX News’ “The Five” and was named to Pollstar’s Live75 chart, which ranks the world’s top touring acts based on ticket sales and attendance.
Liverpool Legends also received a Grammy nomination for “Fab Fan Memories – The Beatles Bond,” a project celebrating the enduring connection between The Beatles and their fans.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, known for films including “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “National Treasure,” selected the group to portray The Beatles and has praised the production as “phenomenal in every way.”
For Beatles fans, the show offers more than a concert. It is a celebration of one of the most influential bands in music history and a chance to revisit the songs that continue to resonate more than half a century later.
